Our Services
At this time, services are only reimbursed by insurance companies that cover out of network (OON) providers. A superbill will be provided for insurance claims reimbursement.
An initial 15 minute consultation via a phone call is FREE. The consultation will be a time to ask questions, discuss concerns, and schedule an appointment.
Sonita offers individualized, family-centered, speech therapy services to upper elementary children, adolescents, and adults.
Sonita specializes in IEP consultation services to assist parents and caregivers in creating optimal and functional IEPs.
About
When not working in the school or private setting, Sonita enjoys spending time with her son, family, friends and her dog. She enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling and numerous outdoor activities.
Sonita is a Speech-Language Pathologist who founded The Speech Therapist Next Door with a goal of helping people functionally communicate and be their best.
Sonita also works in the public schools at the secondary level with grades 7-12 and Adult Transition. Sonita enjoys supporting students and collaborating with families and educators in creating supportive IEPs.
Sonita has over 22 years of experience in the publc schools, as well as experience working with the hospital and subacute care settings with pediatric and adult clients.
